This is where it all started.
On a beautiful Monday in eastern Kentucky, we made our debut at the 2013 Catlettsburg Labor Day Parade. This was our first ever event setup, and you can tell just by looking at it!
Our operations have evolved significantly since, and we are incredibly proud of all the literal blood, sweat, and tears that we have put into this business over the years.
The Catlettsburg Labor Day Parade marked the beginning of Dorky Porky BBQ’s journey as a local barbecue business. From that first modest setup in Catlettsburg, Kentucky, we continued serving festivals, fairs, and community events throughout the Kyova tri-state before eventually opening Dorky's BBQ near the Bellefonte and Westwood suburbs of Ashland.
It’s always been our goal to put smiles on the faces of those who patronize us, and we’re blessed to have a home in Ashland and a loyal following that allows us to do work that we’re passionate about.
